Y Dolydd – Llanfyllin Workhouse can be hired for your private event or function. We have 2 indoor venue/meeting rooms, a 5 star professional catering kitchen, a fully licensed bar, a 24 bed bunkhouse and 6.5 acres of beautiful grounds and gardens to explore and enjoy, making us the perfect site for your wedding, private party, festival, conference or meeting.

We offer breakfasts, dinners and lunches our menu choices and serving options depend on who we are catering for and what their requirements.
Our minimum number for any meal is 12 people. Our “cafe” seats 20 at a time, but for larger numbers we can arrange a larger space. We can cater for vegetarians, vegans, gluten free and will do our best with other special diets.
We will do our best to accommodate your requests but may not be able to due to manpower or other constraints, and unfortunately there are some things that we don’t have cooking facilities for, chips being one.

Example breakfast options:
Standard cooked breakfast, 1 sausage, 2 bacon, 1 or 2 fried eggs, beans, tomato, mushrooms with toast butter and marmalade, teas and instant coffee on a help yourself basis. £8 per head, (minimum charge for group £96)
Luxury cooked breakfast, as above as a starting point, but with extras, some groups would prefer real coffee (cafetiere), or fruit, some cereal, smoked salmon in scrambled egg… whatever takes your fancy, but it is for the whole group, we can’t cater for an A La Carte type menu, we just don’t have the facilities. From £10 per head depending on extras required, (minimum £120 for group)

3 courses from £16 per head
This is for a set meal – the same for everybody – apart from catering for members of the group with special diets. For the basic charge the menu could be something like soup and bread roll, shepherds pie with salads, apple crumble and custard with teas and coffee afterwards on a help yourself basis. Other starter options could be a Greek salad, pate on toast, smoked mackerel salad… Other basic price main course options may include, a chilli served with rice and salsa, quiche with potatoes and salads, casserole with jacket potatoes, sausages and mash with gravy and vegetables.
Higher price options may include a smoked salmon starter, lasagna with salads and garlic bread, chocolate tart and ice cream, or other options with higher ingredients cost.

- 50% 8 weeks before event
- Balance and £100 cleaning deposit to be settled day of arrival. Cleaning deposit returned after event.

£1500 whole site weekend hire (Fri-Sun) ex. Bunkhouse
….setup and takedown usually means these are more like Thurs-Mon rather than Fri-Sun
Bunhouse only £360 per night for 24 beds or £1000 for a 3 night weekend event.
Bunkhouse exclusive use £300 per night. Single beds are £16 per bed per night.
£250 venue and octagon bar evening hire (room only 6pm – 1am)
£100 gallery evening hire (room only 6pm – 1am)
£100 kitchen hire (full day £100, half day £50 plus electric charge)
£50 to use garden daytime (generally includes access to common room for drinks)
£10/hour room hire for classes
